An Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Unit was newly established with the support of Netherland based NGOs, viz., HAVONOS, WILDE Ganzen, Rockids Foundation and A Helping Hand Foundation was blessed by Very Rev. Fr. Edwin Vasantharajah, OMI the Provincial Superior at Nesakkarankal, in Iyakachchi on 14th of September 2019. It is a great initiative to provide computer literacy to the children who live in a very remote village called Iyakachchi and who cannot even imagine to have such opportunity of learning computer. At present, there are forty poor children follow this course to learn ICT.
