The Annual retreat of the 3rd Group of Oblates for the year 2019 was held from 3rd to 9th of November at Gnanodhayam, Mannar. There were 39 Oblates at the retreat. The retreat preacher was Rev. Fr. Gamini Silva OMI from Colombo Province, Sri Lanka. He led the retreatants to realize the mystery of their call to religious life even before the time of Creation. Fr. Gamini, the retreat preacher, in spite of his ailments inspired the retreatants. The Oblates are very much grateful to him for undertaking this great responsibility. The Oblates also thank all those who were behind the scene to make this retreat a success.
Father singare was born on 2nd July 1920 at madhalegal. He was from the perishop Saint Thomas madhale in the dioces of jaffna.
