The district meeting for the Oblates living in Jaffna Peninsula was held on 3rd of February 2020 at ‘Vasanthaham’, De Mazenod Scholasticate. The gathering linked all those who were geographically closer to each other. It remained the primary means of social, spiritual, and in fact religious fellowship and communication. The gathering brought a wider perspective of encouraging every member to be involved in their outreach ministries and services. One of the serious matters concerning the absentees to the regular meetings was discussed. Though the reminders were sent in advance, few members absented themselves without any apology. Fraternal corrections, doubts clearing and also appreciation were regarded specifically for the good of the gathering. Thanks to ‘Vasanthaham’ Community for having made the evening wonderful and fruitful.
