The First Pastoral Convention of the New Diocese of Trincomalee was held on 14th of January at the Pastoral Centre at Uppuveli Trincomalee. His Lordship Rev. Dr. Kingsly Swampillai Presided over the pastoral convention. Rev. Dr. Stany Antony OMI was called to address the convention.
