‘Amala Aruvi’

Amala Aruvi is a community development center located in Mullikulam, Mannar. The purpose of this center is to develop the villages which are around them by educating children and empowering youth to attain self-esteem of responsibility and create healthy families and societies. Presently we have around 80 children at this center.      

MISSION VISIT OF OUR PROVINCIAL

On the 30th of July Fr. Paul Jeyanthan Pachchek, OMI visited the Oblates mission places, ‘’Amathy Kalam’’, (Kokilai, Mullaithivu), ‘’Malarum Mullai’’, (Mullaithivu), ‘’Amathi Karangal’’ (Mankulam) and “Amala Aruvi” (Mullikulam) have discussed the future plans and mission. “Amathy Kalam’’, (Kokilai, Mullaithivu),   ‘’Malarum Mullai’’, (Mullaithivu)   ‘’Amathi Karangal’’ (Mankulam)   ”Amala Aruvi” (Mullikulam)  

”Amathi Kalam”

Amathi Kalam conducts different programs for children at Kokkilai, Amathi Kalam has around 20 children, and they are coming for elocution classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Amathi Kalam also conducts educational programs every month for schoolchildren. They use their land for cultivation too. This time they have cultivated watermelon.
