On Thursday, February 28, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., the University of Jaffna welcomed over 800 students and their family members at the 28th Annual Convocation at Thiruneveli, Jaffna.Convocation is one and only occasion where the University Chancellor , the Board of University and the deans of the Faculties gather to focus on the graduation ceremony. Fr. Soosayappu Antony Poncian OMI who has also gained the degree in the Field of Education..His degree is known as Master in Education(M.Ed). We as the province of Jaffna wish Fr. Poncian for he has toiled to gain his degree in the field of education in Jaffna, in our own soil.
