Fr. Edwin Thevathasan OMI is a young Oblate Priest. His enthusiasm is always to uplift the life of the poor. He has undertaken and completed as a representative of JRS (Jesuits Refugee Service) two successful housing schemes, one in Jaffna and the other in Paranthan, Vanni. Now he is transferred to Trincomalee to undertake a parish known as “Iruthayapuram”. He has already arrived there and started working with Fr. Coonghe OMI, the district Superior, School Principal and the parish Priest. Let us pray for these young men for their gift of service to serve among the poorest of the poor.
