Fr. Velichor A. Jerome OMI has been appointed member of the Oblate Study Club. At present he is in Rome attending a meeting. He did his Licentiate in Historia Ecclesiastica at Pontificia Universitas Gregoriana, Roma. He had been lecturer at National Seminary, Kandy and at St. Xavier’s Seminary, Columbuthurai, Jaffna. He had already published the history of arrival of Oblate Missionaries in Jaffna and Galle, Sri Lanka for “Etude Oblates”. At present he is the Superior of De Mazenod Scholasticate, Columbuthurai, Jaffna.
