Omijaffna.com learns that Fr. Stany Antony OMI, is about to make a trip to Ireland to take part in the Eucharistic Conference in the month of June 2012. Recently Father Stany Antony has been appointed Superior of the Preaching band of the Jaffna Province. He is a Professor of Theology at St. Francis Xavier’s Seminary, Jaffna and a visiting lecturer at Tamil Theologate of Jaffna Diocese.
Now he is about to take off to Ireland to participate in the Eucharistic Congress which will take place from 7th to 17th June 2012. One of the important items of the Congress will be a Theological Symposium on the eucharist presented by the leading theologians on this topic. Fr. Stany says that about 30,000 delegates are sheduled to participate in this Congress. We wish him a successful participation in the Congress.
