Fr. Victor Croos OMI has passed away yesterday (04th. 07.2013) He hailed From a very well-known family in Vankalai in Mannar district. His Father was a very popular postmaster of Nanadaan and well-known musician in the district. One of his younger brothers is also Priest Fr. Xavier Croos serving in the diocese of Mannar. Most of his time as priest he had been in the field of Formation of Priest and Religious. He also worked as a formator in south Africa. To his credit most of the bishops in Sri Lanka are his old students. He was a very human and humorous person, a person who was a very easy to live with. He has been ailing for the last 10 years. He passed away last Thursday and his funeral will be notified later. May he rest in peace.
