The 4th batch of tailoring students were awarded with certificates at the completion of the training at OBTEC Kilinochchi on 16th of November 2013. This training programe is being financed and supported by HAVONOS in Holland for three years. The director Fr. Jeevanadas Fanando OMI the staff and the students exhibited their products so well. The Provincial of Jaffna was the chief guest and many visitors came to see it. That drew the appreciated of many. The programe ended with some cultural programe as well.
HAVONOS helps us with three programes for the victims of war, namely livelihood to widows, education for poor children and orphans and tailoring for young girls. They will also support for two community centers. We hope to work with them continuously.
