On the 14, 15 &16th of December, 2023 in a festive gesture, the Jaffna Teaching Hospital and the Chavakachcheri Base Hospital transformed into a haven of joy as hospital Chaplaincy organized a special Christmas celebration for patients. The corridors echoed with melodious carols sung by a choir of dedicated healthcare professionals and Scholasticate brothers, bringing a comforting atmosphere to the medical wards.
As part of the festivities, patients were delighted to receive Christmas gifts. In a remarkable display of community spirit, students from local schools and members of various parishes from Jaffna have contributed gifts. The initiative aimed at spreading joy during the holiday season has seen an outpouring of generosity, showcasing the true spirit of giving.
