Fourteen candidates from four Oblate Units, viz., Colombo – 08, Bangladesh – 02, Pakistan – 02 and Jaffna – 02 were initiated into novitiate life for the year 2019 – 2020 on August 21, 2019 at Bandarawella, Sri Lanka. The two candidates from Jaffna Province are: Mas. Edwardraja Jenistan and Mas. Ratnasingham Marin Romanson. And also, eleven novices from four Oblate Units, viz., 4 from Jaffna, 3 from Colombo, 3 from Pakistan and 1 from Korea professed their first religious vows at Sacred Heart Novitiate, Bandrawella on August 22, 2019. The four novices from Jaffna Province are Bros. Jesuthasan Jero Danistan, Alahakkon Alexshanthan, Pavilu Jude Nevinton, and Rosario Mervin Thabooshan. Let us thank God of the Harvest who provides vocations to our Congregation.
