The Annual celebration of Gnanatheepam, the center for Oblate Youth Empowerment was held on the 21st of December 2019 at Ariyalai, Jaffna. The revered memories of Late Rev. Fr. Patrick Gnanapragasam, OMI was commemorated with some organized events, viz., exhibition of newly stitched cloths by the students of Gnanatheepam, and launching of two books, namely ‘The Gnanatheepam,’ a handwritten magazine, which consists of the three years of records of the above stated Center and another book called, ‘,isNahupd; rhjidf;F ngupNahupd; Nghjidfs; (The Teachings of great people for the Achievements of the Youngsters),’ the collection of inspirational quotes of the experienced/learned people to youngsters. Rev. Fr. Francis Daniel, OMI was the Chief Guest and with him there were Guests of Honour, priests, religious, parents, teachers and youth.
