“Amaithiaham” is the residence of eight Oblates who are dedicated to mission preaching under the leadership of Fr. Stany Antony O.M.I. It is situated at Vavuniya in the Diocese of Mannar. For the year 2014 they have already received 48 requests for Novena Preaching from parishes in the Dioceses of Jaffna, Chilaw, Colombo and Jaffna. They have also received invitation to conduct Grand Mission in the Parishes of Mullaitivu and Haputale, where a team of Oblates will conduct the mission using different methods of animation, including visitation of families, institutions, etc.
