Thadchenamarutha Madhu Parish has received another new Church dedicated to Our Lady of Velankanni at Iranai Iluppaikulam. This Church was consecrated, blessed and opened by Rt. Rev. Dr. F. L. Emmanuel Fernando, the Bishop of Mannar on the 20th of February, 2022. The foundation stone was laid by late Rt. Rev. Bp. Rayappu Joseph. Very Rev. Fr. Eugene Benedict, OMI was present at this opening ceremony.
We congratulate Rev. Fr. Harance, OMI, the Parish Priest and Rev. Fr. Varathan Croos, OMI, the assistant parish priest for their hard labour. We also remember with gratitude the former parish priests.
