The renewal programme for priests which was organized by the preaching community in preparation for year of faith was held on the 8th of October at “Amathiaham” Vavuniya. As encouraged by our Holy Father we introduced the Vatican II document “Gaudiam Et Spes”. The talk on this topic was givne by Rev. Fr. Ravichandran of Jaffna diocese and there was group reflection and sharing and the second talk was on “ The identity of Priesthood” was given by Rev. Fr. Stany Antony OMI. The Priests who attended expressed the hope that they expect more renewal Programmes for the priests in the year of faith.
