It was on the 8th of April, 2022 the Religious students’ Association of Kandy (RSA) under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Everest, CMF, the moderator of RSA made their demonstration for the well-being of the people of the country against the corrupted, unjust and misleading government. This brought an awareness regarding the Easter bomb attack too, the struggles and the crisis that the people are facing in Sri Lanka. The prayerful and silent protest was guided under the theme of “The hope for a better country.” The Religious Superiors, Brothers and Sisters supported the protest with their presence.
