St. Eugene de Mazenod Home is a newly erected home in Batticaloa. It is blessed and opened by Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph Ponniah, the Bishop of Batticaloa on the 4th of January, 2021. It has been established for the purpose of our presence in the diocese of Batticaloa. The Oblates are not new to Batti but after some gaps the mission has been resumed with the advent of Fr. Yogaraja, OMI. The establishment of this house meticulously reserves home from where the religious activities of Fathers can be operated. We are very much grateful to His Lordship Rt. Rev. Dr. Ponniah Joseph, the Bishop of the Diocese of Batticaloa for his generosity and for extending to us His warm hearted welcome. We assure that we would do our best. We wish Fr.
