The animation programme for our bursars was held on the 7th of January 2022 at Thodarpaham, the Provincial house, Jaffna. Welcoming the participants, Fr. Provincial said that one of the objectives of the programme is to keep us updated in the field of economics and professional management of our temporal goods of the Province.The input talk was presented by Mr. Sellvin Mariampillai (BA in Economics, MSS in Development Studies). He focused on the present economic crisis of our country and its drastic consequences. He also shared on how we could invest in productivity and as result of which we could help ourselves and others in future.
Then the bursars shared their experiences and expectations in their particular life situations. The administration was appreciated by the participants for their willingness to renovate the Houses and centers. Fr. Provincial Treasurer shared the guidelines and directives prepared for the local bursars of the Province and asked to read it carefully for further development and implementation. In his final assessment. Fr. Provincial thanked all for their presence and support. He invited all to cooperate and collaborate in the maintenance of the temporal goods of the province in a spirit of shared responsibility. The programme came to a close with lunch.
