The annual retreat of the first batch of the Oblates of the province took place at the Oblate institution of St. Vincent’s home, Maggona under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Roshan Silva OMI, the Superior of the above Institution, on the 7th of September 2019. Atmosphere and the natural beauty were very conducive for a deep relationship with God. The topics chosen, were, our identity as religious in the background of the Scriptures and the difficulties that we encounter in the process of realizing our goal. The vowed life and commitment was stressed and reconciliation service climaxed the retreat. The participants were fully alive, active and engaged in the liturgy of the word and sacrament. The retreat ended with the change of heart, mind and attitude for a better Oblate life.
