Very Rev. Fr. Eugene Benedict, OMI was elected as the Provincial Superior of the Oblate Province of Jaffna, on the 15th of May, 2020 by Most Rev. Fr. Louis Lougen, OMI, the Superior General and was installed on the 5th of October, 2020 at the Chapel of Thodarpaham, the Provincialate. As he assumes his office as the Provincial Superior we wish him that with faith in the Almighty and courage to pursue it, so that he may possess the Spirit’s Power to fulfil the will of God in his responsibility.
