One hundred students attending the coaching classes at Annai Illam, Kilinochchi, will be sitting for their Advance Level exams in August 2015. Hundred more students are being coached for the O-Level exams in December 2015. These classes were spearheaded by Fr. Ramesh, who faithfully shuttles from Jaffna every weekend to coach up these students. The community of Oblates at Annai illam are hopeful that their labor of love will yield a hundred fold.

Ninety First Oblate Ordained

Fr. Lucas Regini Jude Avalin OMI was ordained on the 28^th of May 2015 as the 91^st priest for the Province of Jaffna. He was ordained by Bishop Thomas Saundaranayagam, at St.Mary’s Cathedral, with six other priests for the Diocese of Jaffna.
