Nearly 59 Oblates from the province of Jaffna gathered this morning (25.02.2013) to celebrate the Oblate Day of the Congregation. It was a remarkable day in the Province as we commemorate 187th anniversary of the approbation of Rules and Constitutions of the Congregation. It was with the full renewed spirit, all the members of the province gathered at Thodarpaham, hospital road, Jaffna.

Oblate youth and Children ministries of the Province of Jaffna, have organized another set of programmes at St. Antony’s Church, Mankumban at Allaipiddy on 10. 02. 2013. A New Library for the Public in Kilinochi (Photos attached)
With the generous financial support and constant encouragement of Lebara Foundation in United Kingdom, a newly constructed library was inaugurated in Kilinochi. The Educational Resource Centre now operates from its new building at Annai Illam, 87, Kanahambikaikulam, Kilinochi, on Saturday(16. 02. 2013).
